Dr. Alex Zylstra, D.C.
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Alex Zylstra was born and raised in Puyallup WA. Dr Zylstra began his path as a chiropractor after seeing the effects of a failed spinal surgery of his father and himself receiving the benefits of chiropractic after a serious auto accident. Dr Zylstra focuses on correction of the spine to not only treat symptoms, but allow the body to function at its highest level possibly. He also helps his patients reach their health goals by teaching them about the 5 essentials to health. Those 5 essentials are maximized mind, maximized nerve supply, maximized nutrition, maximized oxygen through exercise and minimizing toxins. When Dr. Zylstra is not helping patients reach their highest health potential he is spending time with his own family or his church family.
Although I have only been working at Millennium Chiropractic a little over a year, I have never been happier in a place of work. I am surrounded every single day by the most inspiring and invigorating people I have ever been blessed to come across and work with. I am an X-Ray technician at the office, and I am the one who will assist the doctor during your appointment, teach you your warm ups, and answer any questions you may have.
When I’m not working, you’ll often find me spending time with my family. I also keep myself busy by doing a large variety of hands-on crafts. I love woodworking, knitting, and jewelry making. Alongside that, I love to be outdoors. Hiking, fishing, running, and camping are just a few of the activities that I enjoy doing.
Doctor Alex is doing amazing work and I am honored to be a member of his team.
I am a stay at home mom (of an amazing little boy that is outgoing and very social) that gets to come to work a few day out of the week. I am married to my best friend and love everyday that I get to do life with him and our son. My family and I have been going to this office for years and we brought our son in to get his first adjustment when he was only 2 weeks old. I am blessed that I get to come to work with my friends. I love what I do here at the office, though you might no see me much. I am in the back doing all the paperwork, billing and working with insurance companies. I also am the social media manager. I love what we are doing here and how we are changing lives everyday!!
My name is Kay, and I am a mother of two young girls who keep me very busy. They are the love of my life. Most of my time consists of being home with them and playing Barbie’s. I have been a part of Millennium Chiropractic since the very beginning. I am the wife of Dr. Alex and work at the office part time. Belonging to a office that gets to see the transformation of patients from the beginning is one of the greatest rewards I get to witness. We also get to see our patients get off their medications, loose weight, and start to do activities that they haven’t been able to do in a long time. I love how our office gets to teach the 5 essentials to help patients make simple changes that not only affect their own life, but the lives of their friends and family as well.
I grew up Puyallup and met Dr. Alex as my high school sweetheart. I am a sucker for gardening and all things that have to do with flowers. My church is the other major thing in my life and my family’s life. We spend lots of time volunteering and attending church events that have included building the lifelong relationships of our church family.
Building friendships and relationships with those around me has always been important to me and since I’ve joined the Millennium Chiropractic team I’ve been so blessed to have this desire cultivated in my everyday life. Ever since I was little I’ve enjoyed growing closer to my siblings and those around me. Growing up in a large family there have always been kids around so I always love to hear what they have to say and get a little taste of how they view the world. I tend to be on the quiet side at first but I always enjoy talking to and meeting new people.
